Many people apply sunscreen daily but still tan or develop pigmentation because the amount applied is too little. Quantity matters as much as SPF level.
How much for face and neck?
Use roughly two full finger lengths of sunscreen for face and neck together. If your face is larger or you are outdoors longer, apply slightly more.
When to reapply
- Every 2-3 hours during direct sun exposure
- After heavy sweating
- After towel drying or washing face
Common mistakes
- Applying only once in the morning
- Skipping ears, jawline and neck sides
- Using too little product to avoid shine
Choose a texture that feels comfortable so you can apply enough each time without hesitation.
